I was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire but moved to Welshpool in 2012. That same year I attended Aberystwyth University where I studied Fine Art and English Literature. In my 3rd year I specialised in painting, particularly welsh castles and the landscapes that surrounded them. I love capturing the light of painting 'en plein air' as I have noticed how th epaint tends to sing when the colours of the landscape are incorporated. 

After graduating in 2015 I started painting the local areas of Welshpool, places I used to visit on holiday when I was younger.

In May 2016 and 2017  I attended art residencies in Tuscany, Italy. I expanded my portfolio, while also learning and sharing with other artists. 

In January 2018 I went on a trip to Cornwall spending all my time sketching and painting and exploring the coastal landscape. 

In my various trips I've learned so much about the contrasting landscapes. In my work I hope to share my love of both paint and the welsh landscape. In this I feel inspired as an artist.
