Castle Tour of Wales

At the end of last year I went on a sketching tour of the castles of South Wales. I was inspired by Turner's tour and followed in his footsteps with a book I bought at Harlech Castle. It's something about the Welsh Landscape that inspires me to paint and sketch. Ever since I was little I loved visiting castles with my family, we would have picnics and play hide and seek. To then go back and visit brought back these naustalgic memories which then made my paintings and drawings more personal.
